OH MY GOD, GUYS, KATIE'S EPISODE. I sort of wanted to organize my thoughts into something vaguely coherent, but I haven't actually had time, so here is this late incoherent mishmash of thoughts that hit me.

Hey, I finally started watching Skins! ^^ First generation, though, and I'll hate to see them go. *pout*

...see, I sort of cheated and started first with series three while it was airing, so I didn't have the opportunity to be disappointed.

The two year thing is way too short, though, especially considering how few episodes there are per season.

I do have two threes, apparently! Because I'm special and just trying to keep everything ~interesting?

I did not expect to ship Katie/Effy but somehow it just ~happened and I adore them with a passion.

Haha, I don't think I could ever ship Katie/Naomi just because I love Emily so much that it would destroy me. Thrilled to finally see some twins love, though. After having their throwdown last season, they deserve it.

I would definitely be down with two Katie eps! ...the only reason I'm vaguely excited about Freddie's episode at all was that promo with Katie holding Effy or whatever and, ugh, they just had to include that to make me a little bit excited.

I have not heard! But I have no objections to spoilers, really, so--what's happening?

2. Right? I was like, wow, Skins, way to pick the most obscure/strangest thing in the world. Of course it did destroy her vision of a perfect marriage and at least broke her up with her boyfriend, so I guess yay on that front.
4. Haha, YESPLZ. I was actually surprised by how much they didn't make Freffy happy joy couple? In a pleased sort of way.
8. AGREED. And I-I didn't think I could ever feel that sympathetic for Naomi, but just watching her made it so much more painful. And she actually decided not to run away with this time, which I genuinely think is a real turning point in hear character. She just looked so broken.
10. Haha, yes, I mean, it went from ha, kids thinking their parents kissing is always gross, to okay, ew stop now plz.

That is at least a better alternative. :D I was just worried because all of the episodes seem to have such an extreme focus on the title character, but this is reassuring.

...that sounds kind of insane. (Wow, puns, how ~hilarious.) A psych ward? Huh.

2. Mm, yes. It is sad, but I'm also really glad it forced Katie to sort of do a much-needed double take on her life.
4. That part of the promo was seriously the thing that made me excited about next week. And I would have been fine not looking forward to this one--like I don't have enough else to do--but then they went and showed me that and guh. Haha, definitely let's get as far away from him as possible.
8. Exactly. The eyes. It was so powerful and depressing.

Cheers for Freddie&Effy as opposed to just Effy, though! Maybe they realized he couldn't really manage to pull enough attention in his own episode? Because seriously.
