thanks! feedly seems to get a lot of coverage , so maybe if i can turn off all the flashy magazine style options, and have it stripped down to a more text-only reader, it should be an serious option!
I've switched over to NewsBlur (premium account, because of the number of feeds I have). I like it - the developer has made a couple of critical improvements in the last year that has made all the difference in usability.
thanks! but since i have hundreds of feeds, i actually would like to look for a reader, that doesnt offer visuals, but offers pure text style as its main theme!
well, it seems to offer both on par--I just like the widgets so that every topic gives me my news at a glance. But I do hope you will find one that you'll like (and maybe even one that'll let you import all your feeds...)
(Though I have to admit, I culled about three dozen blogs that had stopped updating or being of interest to me and as much as I hate having to do the work, in the end it was kind of worth it for me...)
