Apparently I am overdue. Whee!
I'll keep it short. Management? Blows. Blows hard. I don't care at all about marketing or economics. I'm in library school. I want to play with old books for the rest of my life, not start a computer brand. And the workload is friggin' retardedly huge, more so than for pretty much any of my other classes -

Question: Is this a Bachelor's you're getting? What is the degree? I've always wondered what kind of degree you get if you want to be a librarian.

Answer: It's an MSLS (Master's of Science in Library Science). My second master's degree, for the record (the first was an MA in Classics). It's actually a really good program (UNC), and the coursework isn't too ridiculous - except, of course, for Management.

Question: This may or may not be tough, but what are your top 5 favourite movies?
Reply
Answer: Okay, this is actually perfect - for a long time, I've had a list of my "Top 5" movies, but I'll warn you that it hasn't been updated for a few years, though I'm not sure what I'd take off the list. But the standard list goes as follows (and in alphabetical order, not in order of preference).
1. Amadeus
2. The Empire Strikes Back
3. Gladiator
4. Gosford Park
5. The Lord of the Rings trilogy (because honestly, they really do count as one movie)
Honorable Mentions (in a rough order of how close they are to cracking the top 5): The Queen, Tropic Thunder, Stardust, Hot Fuzz, Ratatouille, Sunshine, Volver, Iron Man, Blazing Saddles, Elizabeth, Minority Report.
And about a million others. I love movies!

I approve of your top 5 as well, though I'm ashamed to say I've never watched the entirety of Gladiator and I'm pretty sure I've never seen Gosford Park. I can tell you're a Helen Mirren fan, and good choice! :P Also, LOTR love for life <3

Gosford Park is one of those movies that you either fall in love with immediately (like I did) or have to watch a bazillion times to appreciate (like a good friend of mine did). I personally think it's brilliant - and the cast is to die for.
And yes, I adore the ever-so-saucy Helen Mirren. If I could grow up to be her, that would be fantastic. XD

What did you want to be when you were growing up (let's say age 7 for fun)?
Do you like where you're living? Is it the place you want to spend the majority of your adult life?
Favorite animal?

- When I was 7, I wanted to be... a doctor, I think. I didn't want to be an astronaut yet; that came when I hit about 10 and started getting mailings for the Space Camp in Huntsville, AL. That's when the astronaut bug hit. But yeah, I'm pretty sure it was doctor at age 7.
- I do like where I'm living, but there's no way I can stay here. I miss winter so very much, and even the proper changing of leaves' colors that fall brings. I'm happy here for now, though, so it's all well and good.
- I love dogs. Big dogs, not those overgrown rats people call "Chihuahuas." A good Labrador or Golden Retriever for me, thank you very much. Maybe two or three, but only when I get a big-ass yard.
