I like this, it's a really good story and I hope to read more of it, but perhaps you should do something about the spelling errors. A beta or something? That's really the only issue, otherwise this is great stuff.

A hint: in several of the chapters you use the word defiantly, when I think the word you're looking for is definitely. :)

Spelling is the bain of my existance! There is only so much a spell check can catch. I'm working on finding a beta so hopefully I can get something worked out so that my spelling issues don't detract from the story. Sorry about that.

oh yes ....inebrieated Sammy's defences are down and Dean now sees how he truly feels for his brother .... now ...does he act like an ass and pretend it never happened ...or does he actully act upon it ....hmmmm ....cant wait to see which way you go with it hon ... lovely....

No, this had more to do with the sense of betrayal at the desertion of five year old Sammy who had spent two days and one night with Pastor Jim while his big brother and father had been off tracking and killing. Sam had long since forgotten standing on the front porch, reaching out his arms and screaming for Dean as the Impala drove away. Dean, however, had not and probably never would. So every year since, he made sure he and Sam were together on this day and quietly lavished some attention on him, always making it appear to be normal.

I could just see how that would affect Dean too .....

Oh, I can totally picture why that image of Sammy screaming while Dean drove away could burn itself in Dean's memory like that. The way he cares for his brother is that intense, and you happened to capture that amazingly well with this scene.

I can't wait to see what happens next! Something tell me Sammy won't forget things that easily, and I hope they can come to a good agreement about those feelings (like snoging each toehr senseless XD) ♥
