Wow...I think I read the first parts of this more than two, maybe even three years ago. It was a delight to read again and I am really glad you decided to finish it. :) Even though I know you have edited it, I think this is an interesting study in evolving writing style. Your writing style has certainly gotten stronger and in the last few chapters the characters felt really solidly in character. Thanks for posting this. It is always a delight to see a long term WIP get some attention!

Yeah, four and a half years... I still feel rather dazed! I'm glad to hear you remark on the stronger characterization, even though that means the story's not so steady at the moment, since to me fanfic is all about getting the characters down. =)

Ahem. ;) Anyway, those evil zombie-like plot bunnies ((okay, watched too much Resident Evil in the past week)) are not going to get their way with sequel, they scare me too much! *L* Besides which I'm trying to herd them toward my Dead Zone fic that crosses over with Silent Hill, so wouldn't you think the little buggers would be happy with that? I mean, there's zombies in that story!

Actually, I have to admit that with all the zombie thoughts (hell, I wrote a poem for my class called "Creature Feature") in my brain I started thinking about a Pirate fic running some intense zombification. o_____0 I swear I never was interested in these sorts of things before.
