My dad told me to keep the patio door closed to keep out the dead mice. I looked at him and said 1) it's your cat's way to saying "Here, eat something." and 2) the fact that cat has to go outside to catch that mouse means she's done a great job in the house. He looked at me kind of funny and said, "Then teach her to keep them out of the hallway."
