Summary: Harry and Draco visit Ambrosia in search of the perfect cake.
Harry and Draco walked hand-in-hand into Ambrosia. They paused to inhale deeply, enjoying the aroma of fresh-baked goods. The owner greeted them by name. "Draco! Harry!" she exclaimed. "Good day to you."
"Hello, Clovis," Harry smiled at her.
"What can I get for you gentlemen?" she asked.
"Our wedding cake!" Draco cried, unable to contain his excitement any longer.
Clovis whooped and rushed out from behind the counter to enfold them both in a hearty embrace. "I wondered if that ring on your finger meant you were getting married at last," she said, voice choked with happy tears.
"Mmpf umumpf," Draco managed from where his face was squashed against the baker's ample bosom.
Clovis stepped back, allowing Draco and Harry to draw grateful breaths of air. "I'm so happy for you," she beamed. Turning to Draco, she said, "Tell me, did Harry do something incredibly romantic when he asked you?"
Draco huffed. "He attached my ring to my cat's collar, and I had to chase her all over the house to get it."
Clovis laughed and clapped Harry on the shoulder, knocking him off balance. "You sly devil," she chortled. Switching gears, she got down to business. "What kind of cake would you like?"
"We were thinking of your deep, dark chocolate cake with the raspberry filling," Draco told her.
"Splendid choice! Let me get the book out so you can choose a style..."

"I can't move," Harry groaned. Clovis had sent them home with the book of wedding cakes so they could peruse it at their leisure. Additionally, to celebrate their upcoming nuptials, she had loaded them up with some white chocolate cranberry scones and some chocolate-chocolate chunk biscuits.
Draco rubbed his distended tummy and grimaced in agreement. "I must say, though, that this has been the most enjoyable wedding-related decision we've made yet."
