Harry didn't dare laugh at the sight of his husband trying to fend off the affections of their dog. "He's excited you're home," said Harry.
"Yes, but he needn't be so enthusiastic," Draco grumbled.
"It's amazing how loyal dogs are," Harry commented, hoping to defuse Draco's temper. "Your cat could care less if you're alive or dead until it's time for her din din."
"The cat defends our home from Boggarts."
Harry snorted in response.
Draco arched a brow. "Have you seen any Boggarts here?"
"Well, no."
"Exactly," said Draco. "Now that's loyalty."
