By the light cast from his wand, Scorpius caught a glimpse of a student's outer robes along with a flash of ginger hair. He smiled in triumph. It seemed all of his scheming, wooing, and deception was about to pay off.
Scorpius lowered his wand. "Come join me on the beach," he called out. The shore of the lake wasn't much of a beach, but it sounded more romantic that way. When nothing happened, Scorpius tried again.
"Please? I promise I won't bite." If his fingers were crossed behind his back, well that was no one's business but his own.
