Harry inhaled deeply, more nervous than Lily was.
She lifted her veil and peered at him. "Okay there, Dad?"
Harry nodded. "I hope I don't trip escorting you up the aisle. It will be a relief to hand you off in one piece."
Lily giggled. "You'll be fine. We'll be fine. We're Potters."
Not for much longer, Harry thought with a pang. He should be thankful for today. Lily had found an amazing partner. Now it was up to him to let her go.
The music began, and Harry inhaled again. He took his daughter's arm. "Let's do this, sweetie."
