I'd attempted to sit at the kitchen table and mark some of my students' papers, but Spartacus didn't appreciate being ignored. He was more annoying than Cal could be, which was astounding. I gave up and moved to the dilapidated couch that my brother refused to part with. I settled at one end and Spartacus was content to sit beside me for a few moments. Eventually, he moved to the back of the couch behind my head, where he was currently wrapped up in my braid and purring in delight.
It wasn't surprising that Goodfellow's cat had a hair fetish.
