Summary: The babies are celebrating.
Draco plodded into the kitchen and maneuvered onto a chair. Harry slid a bowl of porridge over to him and continued spooning his own porridge into his gob. Draco winced at a barrage of internal kicks.
"Happy New Year," he muttered, voice and expression cross.
Harry paused with a spoonful of porridge halfway to his mouth. "Have you gone mad then?"
"No, but this baby is celebrating something big," Draco replied, stirring the contents of his bowl. "I reckoned it was the New Year or Beltane or some such."
Harry offered a sympathetic smile. "So long as your baby doesn't give mine any...ouch."
"Is yours dancing now, too?"
"Yes. It's like they're getting into trouble together before they're born."
Draco swallowed a bland mouthful, heaved a sigh, and said, "That doesn't bode well for us once the little blighters arrive."
Across the table, Harry grimaced. "Eleven years," he said.
"Sorry?"
"We have eleven years of suffering ahead of us," said Harry. "After that, we can send them on to terrorize Hogwarts."
Draco snickered. "McGonagall will murder us."
"She'll probably retire," Harry countered. His eyes sparkled, and he chuckled. "We should have more children to terrorize Hogwarts."
Draco nearly dropped his spoon. "Are you mad?!"
