Scorpius was conducting surveillance outside the library. He had it on good authority that Rose Weasley had special permission to visit the library after hours, and Scorpius was intent on greeting her when she emerged. With no one else about, perhaps he could herd her to a darkened alcove for some snogging and petting. More, if he was lucky.
Isadora was meeting Albus Potter for a study date, while Flint was keeping watch on James Potter. Tonight, there would be no interruptions.
"Malfoy?"
Scorpius turned to see Lily Potter approaching.
She frowned up at him. "What are you doing here?"
