With a free period between classes, Scorpius chose to return to the dungeons and Slytherin. Normally, he'd be trying to waylay either Rose or Lily in the library, but he felt a strategic retreat was in order. He suspected James Potter was on to him, and Scorpius was annoyed that Flint wasn't doing his job providing a distraction.
When Scorpius tired of staring blankly at the boring decor in the common room, he checked the time then picked up one of his textbooks. He may as well get some studying done. He could cogitate on his troubles with Potter later.
