After failing to change Isadora's mind regarding the book she wanted, Scorpius was forced to involve his father. He went to the library and wrote a short message:
Father, I am researching the history of magic, and I recalled that we have a certain book in our library, Ancient Celtic Curses. Would you please send it to me so I may use it as a reference in my essay?
Give my love to mother.

Satisfied with his note, Scorpius returned to his dorm. He rousted his owl, tied the scroll to its leg, and sent it on its way.
