March has come in like a llama. Neither ferocious nor meek, but inclined to spit at you when you least expect it.
Since Spring is the time for Spring cleaning, this month's JMDC prompt is a list of housekeeping words: chores, clean, cook. Use one, some, or all, and use the words in any way you wish. You may write/draw any fandom, pairing, threesome, gen fic, original fic, etc. Combine it with other prompts, if you like.
Please post your entry in your own journal (unlocked!) or a community of your choice, and leave me a link in the comments below. You have until March 31 at 10:00pm CST to submit an entry. At that time, I'll post links to the entries and draw a name from among the participants to receive a drabble from me.
Below is my entry for this month:

hogwarts365 Prompt No. 233 - history
Summary: Mrs Malfoy reveals Harry's heritage to him.
Harry giggled nervously. "I'm not a wizard, Mrs Malfoy."
"No?" she mused. "Then how did you get here?"
"Dobby brought me," Harry replied, ducking his head. He didn't want Draco's mum to be angry at him.
"Why did he do that?"
Harry fidgeted with the dragon toy in his hands. "I called him and asked him to," he admitted.
"Dobby is a magical creature," said Mrs Malfoy. "He will only respond to a witch or a wizard."
Harry looked up at her in wonder. "What is Dobby?"
"He's a...an elf," Mrs Malfoy replied. "Most magical folk have at least one elf to...to help with housekeeping."
"Like me?"
Mrs Malfoy sat up straighter. "What do you mean?"
"I cook and clean for my aunt and uncle," said Harry. He shrank back when Mrs Malfoy's expression turned dark.
Mrs Malfoy drew in a deep breath. "Forgive me, Harry," she said. "I didn't mean to frighten you. I simply find myself astonished that a boy of your station would be doing menial chores."
Harry was puzzled. "My...station?"
Mrs Malfoy's lips thinned. "Your parents were well-off," she said. "You should have been provided for. Your mother was a brilliant witch-"
"She was?!"
"...and your father, well, he was a bit of a rabble-rouser, but brilliant in his own way," Mrs Malfoy said. "Your mother may not have started out with much, but the Potter name is an old and honorable one, and his family was wealthy."
Harry could only gape at her. What Mrs Malfoy was telling him seemed like one of those fantastical stories only found in books.
Mrs Malfoy smiled when she noticed Harry's gobsmacked expression. "Enough about your family history, dear," she said. "Now that Draco has befriended you, you are always welcome in our home. It seems your Muggle family does not understand magic, but we can teach you what you need to know so that you'll be prepared to go to Hogwarts."
"Muggles?" Harry whispered. "Aren't they bad people?"
Mrs Malfoy winced, ever so slightly. "A Muggle is a non-magical person," she explained. "Like anyone else, they can be good or bad, but it was wrong of them to hide your heritage from you."
