Mark of a MalfoySummary: Draco introduces Harry to his parents as his soulmate.
"How did your parents take the news?"
Draco looked everywhere but at his soulmate as he mumbled, "I haven't told them yet."
"Sorry?" prompted Harry.
Draco sighed and stopped fussing with the collar of his dress shirt. "I haven't told my parents the news," he replied.
"You're going to simply spring this on them?!"
"That was the plan, yes."
Harry grinned. "Wicked," he breathed.

The two of them stepped from the Floo in Draco's old suite of rooms at the Manor.
"Mum and Father will be waiting in the drawing room," said Draco. "I'll go in first and announce you, and then you may enter."
"Shall I cast a Shield charm first?" Harry whispered.
"That's a good idea."
"I was joking."
"I'm not," hissed Draco. "Father is going to have a coronary!"
Harry snickered, then grimaced as Draco jabbed him in the ribs.
Draco led the way down two flights of steps and through a maze of corridors. He halted outside of an ornate, wooden door. "Wait here for my signal," he instructed.
Harry nodded and cast a simple shielding charm.
Draco tugged at his collar, straightened his spine, threw his shoulders back, and opened the door. He strode into the drawing room and pasted a smile on his face.
Narcissa was leaning forward eagerly in her chair, eyes bright with excitement. Lucius rose to his feet, patrician nose in the air. "Draco," he murmured, "where is she?"
Draco's smile faltered, but he recovered quickly. "Mother, Father, may I present my chosen soulmate," he announced.
Harry sauntered into the drawing room.
Narcissa gasped, and Lucius' face twisted with anger.
"What is he doing here?!" Lucius hissed.
Draco stiffened when Harry slung an arm around his shoulders and tugged him closer.
"Like he said," drawled Harry, "Draco and I are soulmates."
"But...how?!" cried Narcissa.
"Blasphemy!" Lucius roared, drawing his wand.
Draco stepped between his father and Harry. "Calm down, Father."
"Calm down?!" bellowed Lucius. "You have shamed our entire family by consorting with this...this peasant, and you wish me to remain calm?!"
Narcissa moved to her husband's side and put a restraining hand on his arm. "Lucius, please," she said softly. "Let us hear Draco out."
"I'm of a mind to throw him out!"
Harry set Draco aside and took a step forward. "If it helps, neither of us planned this."
"You stay out of it, you bounder!" spat Lucius.
Draco bristled. "Don't you speak to my soulmate that way!"
"Silencio!"
Harry hadn't even drawn his wand, but his voice rang with power. Silence descended in the drawing room. Harry waited until the Malfoys' mouths stopped moving, as they realized they had been well and truly silenced. "Now then," said Harry, "we are going to sit down and discuss this situation like adults. Mrs Malfoy, if you please?" Harry gestured to her chair, and Narcissa meekly sat.
Lucius stomped to his own chair, the effect lessened by the fact that his shoes made no sound on the marble floor.
Harry took Draco's arm and nodded in the direction of a low, velvet settee. Draco led him over to it, and they sat down, side by side. Harry ended his spell with a flick of his fingers.
"How dare you?" Lucius seethed.
"Lucius, please," said Narcissa. She rubbed her temples with her forefingers, then composed herself and folded her hands in her lap. "Draco, would you please explain how this came to be?"
"My tattoo moved to Harry," Draco replied.
"When were you close enough to Potter for this to happen?" Lucius demanded.
Draco opened his mouth, floundering for a response, when Harry intervened.
"We encountered one another at a club, Mr Malfoy," he said.
Lucius rapped his cane on the floor. "My son isn't bent," he insisted.
"Yes, I am, Father," Draco said with a sigh. "I asked for a dragon tattoo, because I knew even then that I wanted a male soulmate."
Lucius slumped back in his chair and threw one hand over his eyes. "The scandal," he moaned. "Our family shall never recover from the shame."
Narcissa cleared her throat and addressed her husband. "Mr Potter is a war hero, dear," she said. "It would seem that Draco has done well for himself and for our family."
"What about heirs?!" Lucius snarled, aiming a glare at Harry. "Draco is our only son; now the Malfoy name will end with him!"
"There are options available," Harry ventured.
"I will refuse to acknowledge any child you may adopt," spat Lucius.
Harry felt Draco wilt next to him, and he scrambled to make him feel better. "There's another way," he said. "It's called surrogacy. We can find a suitable woman who will agree to carry Draco's baby."
Narcissa perked up. "How is this possible?"
"Muggles have devised-"
"Muggles?!" sneered Lucius.
"...a method of fertilization that has nothing to do with...with sexual activity, and many babies have been born via surrogacy," Harry explained.
Narcissa frowned. "I don't understand."
Harry tugged at the collar of his shirt. "Erm, perhaps we could discuss it some other time?"

"That went better than I had anticipated."
Harry rounded on Draco, eyes wide behind his specs. "Are you mad?!" he cried. "I was certain your father was going to kill us both!"
"He was simply distraught."
Harry goggled at Draco, opened his mouth to argue, then closed it again when no words would come. Harry sighed and shook his head. "Let's go to bed," he suggested. "I need a shag to recover from that encounter."
