101 Drabble challenges...sounds like a Disney movie, yeah? *laughs*
This month, the prompt is sand in your shoes.
You can use it any way you want to, by using the entire phrase, one or two words, or even simply conveying the meaning. Write/draw any fandom, pairing, threesome, gen fic, etc., and combine it with other prompts, if you like.
Please post your entry in your own journal (unlocked!) or a community of your choice, and leave me a link in the comments below. You have until July 31 at 10:00pm CST to submit an entry. At that time, I'll post links to the entries and draw a name from among the participants to receive a drabble from me.
Below is my entry for this month:

Summary: Harry encourages Draco to be more free.
"It's a bit late in the day for a picnic, don't you think?"
Harry shifted his grip on the picnic basket and smiled at Draco. "This is a perfect time for a picnic," he said. "We'll get to enjoy the sunset at the beach, while most of the sunbathers will be gone."
"You make a good point," Draco nodded in agreement. He chose a suitable spot on the beach and set down the ice bucket he was carrying. It contained a bottle of champagne, and Draco couldn't wait to drink some bubbly with his boyfriend. The few people who remained on the beach were packing up their things and getting ready to leave.
Harry set the basket next to the champagne and unfolded the blanket he'd draped over his arm. He spread it on the sand and sat down, patting the space next to him in invitation.
"If I get sand in my shoes, you're sleeping on the sofa tonight," Draco drawled as he primly sat beside Harry.
Harry slapped Draco's thigh. "Tosser," he teased. "Let yourself be free! Enjoy the waves and the sunset and yes, even the sand you may get in your shoes."
Without waiting for a reply, Harry began to unpack the picnic basket. Draco shrugged and grabbed the bottle of champagne and uncorked it. He accepted the glasses that Harry handed to him and poured the chilled drinks.
Draco took a sip of champagne and raised an eyebrow at the food Harry was setting out. "Sandwiches? How decadent, Harry."
"It's cold roast beef on marbled rye, with a decadent dill sauce," said Harry.
Both of Draco's eyebrows rose. "That sounds surprisingly delicious." He unwrapped a sandwich and took a hearty bite. "Mm," hummed Draco. "These are quite tasty."
Harry grinned before turning his attention to the water. "Look at the sunset," he said.
The sky was magnificent. It was a soft peach and yellow where the sun still peeked above the horizon. The colors darkened to shades of mauve and lavender higher in the sky, and all of the beauty was reflected on the lapping waves below.
Harry glanced at Draco and righted his boyfriend's listing glass of champagne. "Pissed already, are you?" he chuckled
Draco ducked his head and grinned. "I confess I was enjoying the sunset."
"Was it worth a little sand in your shoes?"
"Yes, Harry, this was more than worth a little sand in my shoes."
Harry scooted closer to Draco and draped his hand casually across Draco's upper thigh. "Yeah?" he murmured. "Is it worth getting a little sand in your pants?"
