Summary: Theo enjoys success. Sequel to last week's Getting Out Party.
Theo felt a surge of irritation. Draco wasn't even here, and he was still getting the better of Theo. He was beginning to wish he'd had a drink of Felix Felicis before approaching Longbottom. Apparently, he needed all the help he could get.
"Draco is currently seducing Potter," Theo told Longbottom, hoping he spoke the truth. "I think you're the better catch, but Draco has had his cap set for Potter for years." He knew that to be a fact.
"Bloody hell," grumbled Longbottom. He narrowed his eyes and looked at Theo. "You think I'm a better catch?"
Theo had come too far to back down now. "Yeah, I do."
Longbottom chuckled and shook his head. "May I ask why?"
One of Theo's shoulders lifted in a casual shrug. "Maybe I like the strong, silent type," he replied. "Potter is like a force of nature, but you just quietly do what needs to be done."
"Are you trying to pull me, Nott?"
"What if I am?"
Longbottom crossed his arms over his chest and rocked back on his heels. He spent a long moment assessing Theo, during which time Theo had to resist the urge to squirm.
"I do have a thing for brainy blonds," Longbottom finally said.
Theo allowed a small smile to tug at his lips. "Would you care to dance?" he invited.
Longbottom nodded, and Theo turned and led the way onto the dance floor, where couples were dancing slowly to a popular ballad. Theo turned again and reached for Longbottom, only to have his hands pushed away.
"I'll lead," Longbottom insisted, gathering Theo close and wrapping his arms around him.
Theo tried to be annoyed, but a frisson of pleasure scattered goosebumps over his skin instead. Would Longbottom be this forceful in bed? Theo was a big talker, but he secretly enjoyed it when his lovers took charge and mastered him. There was something so hot and naughty about shagging like centaurs that appealed to him, and it seemed that Longbottom was just the stud to give Theo what he craved.
"What are you doing later?" he whispered to Longbottom.
