Scorpius stepped up to stand beside his boyfriend. "It's for both of our fathers, actually," he said. "You see, sir, we believe our dads would make an excellent match, and it would certainly lift their spirits if they each had someone special at the holidays this year."
Santa beamed at them. "Such thoughtful lads, you are," he said. He then waggled a finger at Scorpius and Albus. "Mind you, I'm not in the business of matchmaking, but never underestimate the power of a little holiday magic, when mixed with mutual attraction."
"Thank you, sir," said Scorpius. "That's all we ask."
