Jae's Monthly Drabble Challenge #82; Multiple holiday prompts
The first weekend of December brings unseasonably warm temps for me, and a new JMDC for you!
This month, the prompt is a short list of words: peppermint, penguin, parlor, present, proper. You may use one, some or all. Interpret present any way you'd like, and don't feel obligated to make this a holiday submission. You may write/draw any fandom, pairing, threesome, gen fic, etc. Combine it with other prompts, if you like. Godric knows I just did. In fact, if anyone manages to utilize more prompts than I did, I'll write you a 100-word drabble! Ha ha!
Please post your entry in your own journal (unlocked!) or a community of your choice, and leave me a link in the comments below. You have until Sunday, December 23, at 11:00pm CST to submit an entry. At that time, I'll post links to the entries and draw a name from among the participants to receive a drabble from me. I'm allowing an extra week this month, because I know many of you are busy. Summary: Harry knows how to cajole Draco out of a snit.
"December has barely begun, and already there's a blizzard raging outside."
Harry glanced up at his sulking boyfriend and grinned. He set aside the book he'd been reading and stood up from his warm place on the sofa. "Why don't I get out the Advent calendar?" he suggested.
Draco turned from scowling out the window to scowl at Harry instead. "Do we even have an Advent calendar?" he asked.
"Luna gave me one as a present last week," said Harry. He left the parlor to go upstairs and rummage in the cupboard. He emerged with the whimsical penguin item. Harry thought it was adorable, but he knew Draco would hate it on sight. Therefore, Harry cast a couple quick spells to cajole his boyfriend out of his snit. He descended the stairs and returned to the parlor.
Draco took one look at the Advent calendar and sneered. "That is the most hideous thing I've ever seen."
"Don't be such a Scrooge," chided Harry. "Do you want to end up on Santa's naughty list?"
"I daresay I'm at the very top of Santa's naughty list each year," Draco drawled. His lips quirked with amusement.
Harry extended the calendar. "Open today's flap," he said.
Draco shook his head, but he played along. He pried open the proper flap and read aloud, "A peppermint stick of unusual size. What in Merlin's name does that mean?"
Harry pretended to mull it over. "I've got it," he said. He turned away and unfastened his trousers, withdrawing his cock. Harry had spelled it white with red stripes. He turned around again, sporting a huge grin and a peppermint erection.
Draco goggled at him before laughing. "Oh, for the love of Salazar," he chuckled.
"Aren't you going to give your peppermint stick a suck?" Harry asked, attempting to look innocent.
Draco licked his lips and sank to his knees in front of Harry. He raised his eyes, prolonging the torture, and said, "That calendar is still the most horrible gift I've ever seen."
"Nonsense," said Harry, groaning as Draco's lips closed around him. "It's perfect."
