But can I just say that watching what you eat SUCKS?! Especially in the holiday season. I just want ALL the salted caramel, gingerbread, peppermint, chocolate, white chocolate stuff. fsdlkjfsdlkjf SIGH.
Don't be so hard on yourself. I don't even bother trying to watch what I eat at this time of the year. There's too many extra goodies out there to enjoy. I just set myself up for getting back to my "diet" come January. ;)
Remember "how does this choice affect my goal". Don't deprive yourself if you desperately want something, but make sure you stop. If you want some gingerbread, cut it into three, give two parts away, and have it with a cup of hot tea. The tea will make you warm and full and will stop the craving the sugar gives you!
