This is my EIGHTH year here on LJ and it's been such a fantastic road to here. I adore each and every one of you and am so glad that I have you in my life, you don't even knoooooooow.

I envy your way with words - it's like they're at your beck and call and can twist and form to make gorgeous sentences that paint such pretty pictures.

Jared shifted uncomfortably in his seat next to Jensen with Jensen's family all around him talking loudly and basically ignoring Jared. The Christmas tree twinkled in the corner, the fireplace roared, and it seemed to be perfect except for the fact that this was the first time meeting Jensen's family and Jared was nervous as hell. Jensen nudged him and Jared shook his head of his thoughts, glancing over at his boyfriend. Jensen smiled, wide and pure, Jared's favorite smile, and Jared just knew everything would be okay if Jensen was right there next to him.

Jensen was a dependent freak, clearly. That was the only reason that seeing Jared again after a week (just one week!) made the air around him seem more breathable. That was the only reason that the headache pressing against his skull vanished at the sight of his boyfriend. That's the only reason that his tense body completely relaxed as Jared came nearer. Jared enveloped him in his arms, nose pressing into Jensen's neck and just breathed, like he was re-cataloguing Jensen's scent, and maybe Jared was a dependent freak, too.

Congrats! I'll hit 9 years next April, yay! Can't believe it's been that long. O.O And I am so very glad to count you as a friend for most of that time--we friended each other back when we were both primarily HP and Harry/Draco shipping, didn't we? ♡♡♡♡

Oooh exciting!!! Awww and yeah we did. We drifted for a bit, but you came into the world of SPN and the love grew strong once more.

I admire your will to keep going. I know you've had all sorts of crap happen to you, but you don't let it bring you down - you have off days of course, but your course in life is always forward!

Sometimes, even after 40 some odd years together, Jensen can look over at his husband and see the thinning hair, the wrinkled skin, the veiny hands and the hunch to his back and that's all he can see. But sometimes, all Jensen can see is the way his hair has thinned due to him and the grandkids tugging at it, the laugh lines that caused the wrinkles, the still huge hands that fit perfectly in Jensen's, and the fact that even with that slight hunch, Jared is taller than Jensen and likes to lord over that fact. Sometimes, all Jensen can see is the gorgeous man he fell in love with and continues to fall in love with over and over again.

Jared dribbled the ball through Jensen's legs, laughing at Jensen's gobsmacked expression. This game decided who would be the sex slave for the week, you bet your ASS Jared was going to do his best to win.
