Yayyyyy! Congratulations on having all of your siblings come to Israel (even if not all at the same time). I wish you luck on getting her to make Aliyah like you.
And I know that "wow" feeling when you suddenly realize that you understand Japanese, even if only a tiny bit- when once upon a time it was completely gibberish. I was in Japanica with my bro last week and there were two Asians sitting on the bar juuuuust out of earshot, and my brother looked at my spaced-out face and said "you're trying to hear them, aren't you?"
i think he also wasn't sure it was me. i don't know -- awkward moment that i couldn't decide what to do. and definitely-- wanna come for shabbat while she's with me. or maybe ill take her to jeru to do stuff, and we can do dinner or something.
