Awuh! Cute! I haven't read any JQ at all. *adds it to the list* Opposites do tend to get matched up though, huh - like Yoda says, that's how you learn. If you're a Jedi, at least :)
Thanks! Yeah, I haven't read all of JQ myself. A couple of them are out-of-print, and I'm having trouble tracking down the rest... but I'll do it at some point. And the whole opposites thing does seem pretty common in the Order- heck, look at Qui and Obi!
I enjoyed this a lot. We don't get to see much about Siri/Ferus' relationship because JQ tends to concentrate on Obi-Wan and Anakin - there's big chunks of their early training together, and how Siri coped with Ferus leaving the Order that just itches for 'fic authors to step in. Nice touch playing up Yoda being the busybody - is anyone safe from his meddling?
Looking forward to reading some of your other stuff!
Hi, visiting from niicoly's rec and I wanted to say how much I enjoyed your story. It's nice to see Siri at this point in her career, and of course Yoda knows just the right things to say to get someone to pass along the Jedi traditions. Good story!

And I'm glad that line worked- the last time I reread this I was wondering whether or not that paragraph quite made sense. :)
