Fixing Korra

While holed up with a pretty high fever, I dreamed/thought of a way to ‘fix’ some of my concerns with Legend of Korra Season 2: The Inevitable Light Vs. Dark Storyline. I have a ton of problems with it, as you can tell from my renaming, chief of which is how the main conflict boils down to The Ultimate Spirit of Good fighting The Ultimate Spirit

Well, even though it went in a different direction, if nothing else, having done all this thinking and writing, you now have these elements available for discussion or use in your own work in the future. Seems like a lot of people do this. Like, what's bugging me about this show or film or book? Can I do it in a way that fixes these things for me? And then the hard part after that is following through and producing it. Not saying you should, just musing, seems like plenty of stories get their start from this sort of thought process.

I love this. (I also really enjoyed the finale although I have a major weakness for Giant Stompy versions of anything, but I would totally read/watch the hell out of this (gorgeous visuals, I love the montage).

It has also reminded me that I made a whole bunch of notes for my fantasy Korra seasons 3 and 4 which I never polished or posted, and I could still do that, hrm.
