Here is a picture of Yurtle and Corky shortly after I got them. Corky is in the upper left and  and Yurtle is the once lower.

Yurtle is a red-eared slider. Corkyis a Yellow-bellied slider. And Yes, Yurtle is named for the Suess character by the same name.

Yes. Corky was having to hide behind the filter so Yurtle would not bite at his head or legs.

Aw. :( I didn't know turtles would do that. They seem so peaceful and passive.

Reptiles in general can be fairly nasty to each other. Often the big ones will eat the smaller one if they can catch them.
