Sir, while I have no reason to distrust your word, I must express my own disbelief at the mere suggestion of that man intending me harm. I know Judas Iscariot well; the very idea seems to me preposterous.
I'll admit, it may well be nothing more than a misunderstanding. Judas has never struck me as a violent individual - however, I believe inaction on my part would be far worse than overreaction in this case.
