Incentive (Hold on to Nothing)
Football RPS, Andriy Shevchenko/John Terry, PG-13
1266 words

I do not own these boys in any way.

Note: Yes, Sheva loves Kaka or Michael Ballack or Kristen (insert personal opinion here) and JT loves Lamps, but, erm, they had to be written. I had no control over this.

He does not find the key to success, or the mystery of the universe, or even what makes John tick.
i still say this line is fantastic.

Oh, hush. It's a wonder that I posted it at all. It made me ill when I looked at it the other night. But I'll admit that it's getting better with time.

Did I ever thank you for your help on the fic? I feel as though I didn't, but I think we've already established the flaws of my memory. So, you know, THANK YOU. A gazillion times.

(I think my muse is ready to have some fun. Just in time for the two papers I have due. Oh yay. But maybe it'll actually want to write my OTP. What a strange concept.)

Wow. That was excellent. Your writing is gorgeous; some of the lines are just beautiful.

He does not find the key to success, or the mystery of the universe, or even what makes John tick.

Love that one.

Very bittersweet story. The end made me quite sad. :(

Lovely job, though. ♥♥

Thank you. I was surprised at how most of the lines came out. I just didn't expect to work out as well as it did.

I had a slight phase with this coupling and tried to write it but-yeah.

Gosh, I'm so ecstatic right now. Thank you for writing this and fullfiling it out my system! XDDDD

It's heart-breaking, interesting, and different. Nonetheless, I would love to see more of this from you. You have a unique style of writing, I like it.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that others saw something between these two. I'm glad it was appreciated. Thanks for reading.

I have an unfortunate tendency to romanticize suicide. It's not my fault that it sounds so wonderful. Thanks for reading.

um, that was great. amazing even. but I'm glad that it doesn't have too much in common with reality, because...I don't want it to be that way
hopefully it won't be

Oh, I wouldn't wish for this too. It's fantastical in the greatest sense of the world; it's fun to think about, but if it really happened I think the world would be a little off.

Thanks for reading.
