[It's been a month since Seren died, half a month since Allen more or less started to let Chase live on his own again. He still went to visit her grave daily, still brought her flowers, told her stories. But the time that he spent there was less than before, perhaps only an hour or two. The apartment had been abandoned as Chase threw himself into

[Smart enough to have started carrying silver. Smart enough not to cut a huge gash across Allen's chest back, from shoulder to nearly 3/4 of the way down his torso, until Allen's teeth were in his neck. Smart enough to have found a silver blade. Allen shudders, the movement pulling at the ripped skin and making him flinch further.]
Didn't really want to go to a clinic... [Coming here to curl up for awhile and rest seemed like a better idea.]

But it's shocked him out of the blank state that he usually falls into when he's not visiting Seren or in bed-in bed with Allen.] Why isn't it healing? What did they get you with? Innocence?
[No, it doesn't have the same familiar patterns that he's seen on Allen's other Innocence injuries. Setting him on the couch, moving the tatters of Allen's shirt aside as he gets the black golem to shut the door.]

[Allen leans his side against the couch as he's set down, resting his cheek against it and dragging in a slightly shaky breath. He shakes his head, and glances back at Chase. It's obvious that the finder was in a panic when he did it, the spot where the blade hit up on his shoulder looks almost like a stab wound, and then the wound gets light as it drags down, then deeper again - in at least one spot it's deep enough that part of his rib is visible, and in another part the cut isn't severe at all. But it cuts across his scar from when Lavi was an Akuma, too, and generally looks... really damn unpleasant.]
Dunno... It was just a knife, I don't know why it's not...
It burns...

[Sighs as he inspects the wound, finding the deeper spots and has a general frown on his face.]
Not Innocence, it doesn't match. Not Dark Matter either. ...Where the hell does he get a silver knife from? [Getting to his feet.] Lay on your stomach, Allen? I'm going to have to stitch this up.
[From what he recalls with Aiden's little experiment with silver (ie the vampire hunter) his eye never grew back. So the silver thing might not close except with normal human stitches and perhaps some of his healing talismans. Going to the hallway to get a first aid kit and a sterile needle and thread.]
