my poor mother. i love her so much. i thought i had death all figured out. people die sometimes in the most awful ways, but i thought it was to show other people to appreciate everything they have, but this i cannot understand. a close friend dying is much easier to understand when it's because of some chronic illness, cancer, or even a car

no need to give up your presents, i think it would just mean a lot to your mom if you helped her through this as much as you can. i cant even imagine being in her shoes, shes probably the strongest person i know. she has been through a lot. and so have you. so call me any time you feel the need to talk to someone.
