Just wanted to do a quick pimping post and remind my flisters that the 2012 Profiler Secret Santa exchange is up and running over at profiler_fans - sign-ups close on November 14th and more participation is always a plus. I think I had my over-the-limit campaign moment last week when the Pandora station I had on for background music at work started to intersperse holiday jazz with ads about the evils of voting for a casino-financing bill in Maryland. Set to "Oh Susanna," no less. 0_o

I'm looking forward to Secret Santa as well, I'm really in the mood to write this year!

Yes, as frustrating as the snail's pace of progress can be, at least we seem to be making some steps toward civility and respect for people, so I'd call it a win for our state.

LOL, I totally agree with you about the holiday prep being more fun than the real thing - as the "to do" list looms closer and time grows shorter it gets considerably less fun! ;)

Congrats for Maryland! My state has just re-elected and idiot that's going to try to get a ban on same sex marriage passed >:o/ Sooo glad the ads are over! It was nice having my trip just before the election and escaping some of the worst of it!
