[She goes out most nights, can't abide boredom in the slightest and she doesn't see why she should have to when there's always a club or a bar or a party or a fight to go to. She doesn't drink, doesn't like any kind of inebriation whatsoever, she preferred her mind at its highest capacity, but she knows there are plenty of others willing to overindulge in her stead, and she'll be waiting to catch their slack mouths in a kiss on a dance floor, or to punch their noses bloody if they're stupid enough to start a fight.]

[She would know that feeling: easier, faster, gratifying. She doesn't hide it, she does whatever she has to in order to satisfy her wants. Lies, cheats, steals, all in one. It's why she became a counterfeiter, why she forges paintings. But that's not something to be vocalized, not something she thinks about, just acts on. There's no call to deny her impulses.

She leans forward to light the cigarette, but doesn't bring it back to her mouth immediately, fiddling with it in her fingers instead.]

We should welcome you then.

[That dark smile pulls at her mouth, looking over her shoulder at the crowd.]

How starving do you like them, Lou?

[That throws him off, a little. He'd assume that she was talking about herself in some way, but she's looking at the crowd like she's going to pick someone out depending on his answer. He's been in that situation before, and things got too weird too fast. It could just be some of his paranoia prickling the back of his mind, though, so he frowns and takes another drag, following her gaze. He opens his mouth and makes a sound before answering.]

Not sure I get what you mean.

[She's incredibly weird, and she glances back him, unperturbed, but incredibly blunt in her interest. She is an antithesis to subtlety, in many regards.]

Your college girls.

[There isn't a lot of thought put into what follows. His hand slides an ashtray closer and he tips the ashes off the cigarette.]

I don't really care. [The tone has caution disguised as indifference. Uncompromising.] As long as we're both having fun.

[She smiles, and she offers her first taste of her invasive hands, not hesitating to touch his face; her interests acted on with no consideration or care for anyone's personal space.]

Are you going to run away if I go pick one?

[Her tone is half-mocking, because she wouldn't be very amused by it at all and because it happens more often than one would think. Maybe the charisma of her pretty face and dark eyes begins to become obvious and the only chance for escape is jumped at.]

[He doesn't make the slightest effort to turn away from her touch, showing a little smile while his cigarette burns away idly. It doesn't make him uncomfortable; it encourages him to focus on her and pretend this situation isn't going to step into territory that he isn't interested in (or that he can afford). There's little doubt that it it's not what she meant, so he turns it around.]

I was hoping you had picked me.

Good. You were following along after all.

[She tilts her head, deciding something in the back of her mind.]

But maybe you don't like to share.

[She preferred it, as much skin and hands as she could coax together into one place, until she was drowning in it. But... she also didn't care, as long as she got some of each. She thinks she values this one at a higher interest than the drunken things behind her. It's not consideration, it's priorities.]

[The cigarette drops into the ashtray and Lewis waits just another moment, keeping his smile and taking her answer as encouragement.

Straightening himself up, Lewis tilts his head and leans in.]

[Her fingers curl into his hair, takes that as answer enough. She's all right with that. It just means he gets all of her attention, intensity focused to one central point. She's always touching like she wants to grab hold of something deep inside, squeeze it until it gives up and bleeds. Her kisses are no different, borders right into too obscene for public viewing. But they don't really need to stay here.]
