[sits across from her in the cell on a thin mattress, legs and arms drawn in close and covered in protective bandages. She stares at the wheezing woman with a wary expression but doesn't move to help her]

[ Sasha jumps when she's addressed, staring at her in sheer terror. She hadn't noticed her, thought she was alone. Being with someone else in a tight cell makes the scrawny rat even more nervous.

She quickly looks away, never one to look at people for too long. ]

I-I s-shouldn't be h-here. [ Kulshedra will flip her shit. Maybe. In any case, she's going to get beaten up. ]

[Lisha narrows her eyes as the other woman jumps but her expression remains the same, if a little colder. Nothing to make you feel less sorry for yourself than a cellmate who seems to be more pathetic than you. Her voice is flat as she quickly replies:] Got somewhere better to be?

Oh, honey. [His voice is heard from the cell next to hers, deep and warm, heavy on his usually flamboyant accent. He knows he's in a lot of trouble, he just isn't entirely sure what for, and manages to keep a lot of his calm for it. [She scootches closer to the wall his voice comes from, curling up there, tired and cold and scared.]

I can't get out. [She warbles miserably. The girl is the daughter of a teleporter, and while she doesn't share that exact power, she should be able to escape this place.] I want to go home.

[ It's the most worrying, actually, that they want someone pregnant. She has read books about crazy sci-fi stories in worlds that pregnancy is rare. She hopes she's not in one of them. ]
