❶ the scale: 1
❷ the type: Riley is the type of person who doesn't care much about types, since she's always out to try something new. However, there's something that she does not appreciate, which is when people are too meddlesome.
❸ the past: One night stands galore, Riley never really took her sexuality too seriously since she is sterile and therefore figures that having lost the supposed-joy that is to create life [something her mother told her], the very least she can do is to have fun. However, growing up in a place where lust is taboo in some means, but growing attached will only become your downfall, she rarely acts interested unless someone is in return [and shows it first], and by next morning, she's driving her motorcycle away to another town with her little sister in her side-cart.
❹ the crushes: "Morgan does not count because he's a douche and what the hell, isn't he supposed to be holy or some shit".

❶ the scale: Because he likes to be an idiot, he's in between 0 and 1.
❷ the type: Level-headedness and a great sense of humour, even though he has a penchant for sultry redheads.
❸ the past: His job definitely does not allow him to have a fixed relationship, and it would be too idiotic of him to even attempt to invest in one: too dangerous. It's something he actually envies Patrick about, having discovered what happened [SPOILER - highlight to read: meaning Patrick's marriage to Jaqueline back when they were still in the army], but like hell he'd ever tell that to anyone. Way back in his first missions he was pretty much snagged by the barmaid in a bar of Yugoslavia - chewed up and thrown away like bubblegum but hey, he never complained once since he thought she was way out of his league - which kind of fed his actual thing for women who pull the knowing-but-coy act.
❹ the crushes: Do Maudey and Driver count? Even if completely platonic... He once thought he had a crush on his former partner, Blair, but he was drugged up while ( ... )

❶ the scale: X. What am sexual feelings. No, seriously, all his human sexuality (which would have been 1) has been replaced by vampire sexuality which basically means everything with a pulse. But with zero sexual feelings.
❷ the type: if we ignore the sexuality aspect (or lack thereof) and go with ~FEELINGS~ then Julian is pretty damn affectionate and there was a time in his life when he would basically fall in "love" with anyone and everyone that he fed from. But lately that's been replaced with ROB ROB ROB ROB ROB.
❸ the past: uhhhh.
❹ the crushes: ROB ROB ROB ROB ROB and then all those weird little hamlet's-mother-feelings for Evangeline blerrgh

❶ the scale: three. Gender is fairly irrelevant.
❷ the type: UH OKAY well firstly you've got to bloody well deserve his time and attention. Not very many people/cities qualify for this; Cambridge has unbelievably high standards and expectations. High achievers and the best of the best need only apply. Everyone else can go home. Fakeness (including false humility) is really offputting - Cambridge values honesty and pragmatism a hell of a lot. And most importantly Cambridge looks for people who can "stand the heat" - he's fussy, highly-strung and antagonistic and expects people to not only be able to handle that but also to dish it back out at him. Difficult standards, this one.
❸ the past: He's nowhere NEAR as open and promiscuous as other cities. He's far too fussy and judgemental. There's only a small handful of cities and people that he's ever really seen as of the same calibre as himself: Oxford being the most obvious one here. In his younger days he was besotted with Ely but in recent centuries he's outgrown her in more ways than ( ... )

I was going to write this thing for Monroe but instead you can just imagine the feeling when you tread on a snail. Monroe's sexuality is that constant feeling of self-disgust and remorse.
