So... its 3:47 I get off work at 4:00... at 3:46 it started raining. Not just like normal rain... this is satanic hurricane rain. ::sigh::

So I'm now officially a student at the University of Florida. : ) I feel all special and junk. The first to years of college just kind of flew by. I swear I will post the 4 stories... I just haven't gotten

I felt special when I got into the University I attend now... after 3 years there, I want to firebomb it. ~~ And recent events have made me even further militant. And don't forget the 4 stories, or the addresses of the guilty parties.

Strawberries and Video Girl Ai, if you haven't seen or read it. I've only seen the OVA, but it was incredibly well done, more depth and meaning in 6 episodes than some series 2x as long.

That's a great pic. I think I'd be scared stiff in the presence of two of the most charismatic leaders of the 20th century, too. Truman was a very charismatic leader, too, of course, but this photo also seems to reveal a humble side. He seems humbled in the presence of two of the most powerful men in the world at that point in history. Of course, I'm not very familiar with the rest of the story. What was happening when this photo was taken? What had they come together to discuss?

I'm currently reading Snow Drop (a must read manga) and watching Chobits. I finally got Chobits!! Thanks for the recommendation.

Well... this is a picture taken at the Potsdam conference. It was after the German defeat and the basic purpose of the conference was to decide what to do with Japan. They decided that Japan must surrender unconditionally or else. This was Truman's first Presidential thing. He's nervous because he doesn't know how to be president. He never even went to college. The fact that he ended up being president was due to a series of "fortunate" events. But I think over all he proved to be a good leader.
