littledivinity, who gave me A voice from deep inside said, "You've got to be insane."
Let's make one thing clear: Taylor always knew how it was going to end. Knowing and hoping it won't are two very different things.
She knew. She also hoped. Hope is the most dangerous emotion of them all.
No one knows that better than Taylor.

She kissed him first.
This isn't a story about a wide-eyed innocent being taken advantage of by the villainous older man. She isn't Little Red Riding Hood and he's not the Big Bad Wolf.
She kissed him and he kissed her back. In the beginning, it was that simple.
It doesn't stay that simple.

Everyone warned her about him -- he warned her about him. To say that Taylor didn't know what she was getting herself into would be a lie. She did know, she knew all of it. What an asshole he was, all the women he'd hurt without meaning to, the women he'd meant to hurt. He told her the truth, in unsparing black and white.
He told her that someday he'd hurt her too.
Taylor heard all of this and chose it anyway. After it's over, she'll pretend she never knew.
Sometimes the easiest person to lie to is yourself.

When it ends, it happens just like everyone said it would.
"I can't," said he.
"You won't," said she.
He shrugged his shoulders and left without looking back. She cried for a week. Both of those things are who they are. Both of those things are why they were never going to work.
She knew that before her lips ever touched his, before it was something she couldn't take back. She just hoped that somehow it would be different with her.
It wasn't.
