Frak is the Profanity of the Future

Is anyone else a big Battlestar Galactica fan? I love it, so I am really excited that the season premiere is this Friday, 9PM, on Sci Fi. Yes, I am a nerd. I just watched the webisodes on SciFi.com, as well as the first act of Friday's premiere. Looks to be a good season!

So psyched about battlestar galactica. i have to miss the premier (I'm at a conference now), but I'll definitely download it and then watch the rest of the season. Navid got me hooked on Joss Whedon, and after Firefly ended, BG was the natural thing to go to. I don't like it quite as much as firefly or the other joss whedon shows, but it's definitely still very good.

Where's your conference?

You're right, it's no Firefly, but I still enjoy it :)

The conference was in Bertinoro, Italy, which was amazing. It was actually my first trip to Europe, and I had a great time. I just got back late last night, and now have a ton of work to catch up on, but it was worth it. I'll try to download the torrent of the GB season premiere and watch it tonight :-).

Oh, Frak you and your access to cable television. I am forced to resort to interweb piracy or the long, long wait for DVD.

Yes, my boss tapes them and distributes the tapes around the office, but I HAVE NO VCR.

You need to befriend someone with cable!

I did resort to piracy to watch season 1 and 2.1, but I was able to catch 2.2 and now am caught up.

I was much enamored of the first season, and of the second as well. But the second season's finale left me a tad cold. It was just so ... not fulfilling in any way. I shall check out these webisodes you mention, but feel that they must be great indeed in order to lure me back to BG. Also, since I don't have a TV I'd have to itunes all the episodes which gets rather expensive.

Yeah, I'll have to see if the "one year later" is them jumping the shark or not. It's been a long wait, though, I think the last new episode was in April.

There's always the torrents...

No, not so much. After you graduated Lauren and I had a bit of a run in with the RIAA. I'm on the straight and narrow now. No suit was filed, but still. Not fun.

Yikes! Well I am glad that there was no suit filed!
