By Sunday night, Lydia actually feels like she's got some control of her brain again. She manages to spend some time with Stiles that doesn't include ripping each other's clothes off (okay, so, the ripping was mostly Lydia, but he'd snuck away to eat while she was asleep and when she woke up from that dream he was dressed and taking way too long to

"It's fine." Stiles smiles, covering her hand with his, leaning into the touch. "I'd take it, for you."

"You shouldn't have to, though. And besides, I have enough trouble keeping the wounds you've got from getting infected, no need adding more." Lydia teases, leaning in to kiss him gently. When she pulls back, she nods to his bagel.
"You should eat." The very least she can do is feed him before he likely gets beaten up. Maybe Issac would keep an eye out for Stiles...

"Thank you, by the way," Stiles bites into the bagel obediently, scooting a little closer. "It's delicious."
Whether the wolf was at school or not was another question. Stiles had a sinking feeling he wasn't. Maybe if he stuck by Danny's side with a bullshit excuse about lab homework the guy would agree to act as a mediator.

Danny! The only thing about asking him to step in was that he was Jackson's best friend. He had a low tolerance for his bullshit though, so maybe if she asks nicely, he'll be of some use. Keeping him from breaking Stiles' arm in practice and crying accident was a totally different matter entirely though. "Do you have practice today?"

"Uh, yeah I think so," He could blow it off, but he probably shouldn't If both Isaac and Scott were missing, his absence - while not entirely unwarranted as he never played - would be the Kingpin to rouse suspicion.

"I'll wait for you." When she and Jackson first started dating, she used to do it all the time and it was infinitely boring. But dutiful girlfriend and all that bullshit. Now, with Stiles, she can study or read and not worry about getting a weird look or a question about it. And if she's there to moderate, Jackson's less likely to hurt him as badly as he might without her there. She hopes.

"You don't have to. I can...deal with it." Not that the idea didn't kind of scare the shit out of him. Angry Jackson Whittemore was one thing, but killer werewolf was another. Maybe he could get some wolfsbane or something...
Reply
"I want to. I'm just going to go home and study anyway. I can study while I wait for you." Tada. Easy solution. "And then we can go talk to Derek and see if he can call Jackson off or something..." Or not, because everyone's in heat. Crap. This is starting to get really fucking inconvenient, only being like half-werewolf.
Reply
"Alright. If you're sure." Stiles makes a face at the mention of Derek, however. "Not risking that mental scarring if he's not done with Boyd yet. There are just some things no one is meant to see."
Reply
"I am." She doesn't know what she can do if Jackson does go crazy, but she wants to at least be there to try and help. Her laugh covers up the faint shudder that rolls up her spine at the image and she shakes her head. "Oh God, are you serious? Why did you even have to say that?"
Reply
"Because it's a thing that happened." He's still trying to process it and so hopes he never does. "It's a thing that happened, holy shit!"
And then he's laughing again, shaking his head at how ridiculous their lives have gotten.
Reply
"Stop! Oh my God, stop, stop!" She can't decide if she wants to laugh or shove a bobby pin into her eyes or go back to eating and pretend this never even transpired between them.
So she settles for sealing her hand over Stiles' mouth instead. "Hush."

Lydia's just about to pull her hand away, leaning in to kiss him as an apology when she hears Scott and Allison approach and speak. Great, they're here, but they seem just as shocked by this new development as all of the other uninvolved passers by.
"Good morning to you too, Scott." This is Lydia not appreciating your comments.
Reply
"Yeah, it is." Stiles mumbles quietly, biting his lip and shooting Lydia a questioning look before biting into the pastry again. He doesn't know if she's going to want this...whatever it was between them, public.
