So I'm on a Veronica Mars fic kick.  It's great.  Lots of great writers in the community.  But there's just this one thing that's
driving
     me
out
          of
     my
*fucking*
               mind.

So.

As I'm going through various fic archives, I'll see an entry.

Appealing title?
Check.

The obligatory preview line is slick and intriguing?
Check.

How old does your profile say you are? If the fics are flagged as adult content and your profile says you're not over 18 or whatever they determine as the age for naughty fic, it won't let you see them... just a thought... Other than that, maybe you have to join the community first? Maybe message the mods....
