"Where true charity and love dwell, God himself is there.
As we are all of one body, when we gather let no discord or enmity break our oneness.

Attending your church was one of the highlights of my summer. Seeing the authentic, real, loving ministry to people from all walks of life; and seeing their ministry back to the church and the community moved me in a way I don't know that I've ever been moved. I've spoken of it many times -- of the garden that is tended by people who most churches ignore, and how it's open to the community to come and gather vegetables and herbs. The art program. The people who sing off key, but from pure, loving hearts. The inability to ask a question in a sermon. I know that the idea of a church like this is a little off-putting to some, but I loved it, and would love to go back one day. What an amazing place, and God definitely resides there.

So, how are you spending your last weekend in Atlanta?

Andrew...totally dug this post. It made me think of a worship experience I had once at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Bristol. I blogged about it this morning after reading your post. http://sacramentlife.blogspot.com. Thanx for the thoughtful post on worship. Peace.
