(Note: I apologize for not sending out my Atlanta Update Six. I appreciate the emails that checked in on my status. My trusty laptop broke and is currently being fixed by the Geek Squad at Best Buy. Your friends are not alone, no matter how Godforsaken their new home seems. God is very much with them.

I am praying for them and that God will open a door for more human contact. Churches may forget them. Governments may forget them. But God most certainly has not.

Your work is of significance because it is the work God has called you to do. If He had called you to pick up trash on the side of the road, your work would be significant. It's not about the magnitude of the work we do but rather if we do the work that is laid before us with an obedient heart.

I would love to find a (low) church that celebrates Communion weekly. I haven't attended a church with weekly communion since college, and I really miss it. If, for some reason, I have to miss church or be out of town the first week of the month, I don't receive communion, and that frustrates me. It's of utmost importance.

I'm so glad that you're able to visit those parishioners. It's sad that their home didn't bother to inform the church, who is so important in their lives, of the move, and sad that these individuals didn't get a choice about it.
