Thoughts on reincarnation & past life regression

Oct 13, 2011 16:07

For those of you who believe in reincarnation: Do you think the fact you are an empath plays into your previous lives? What are your thoughts on this? Have any of you had past life regression? If so, what did you learn that connected you with being an empath in this life? Just some things I've been thinking about lately :)

I think that past lives can attribute to having empathy in your current life. I also believe that the more lives we have, the more we develop our psychic abilities. I've had a few past life readings, but i am still very interested in doing a past life regression. Have you had a past life regression? If so, what did you learn from the experience?

I haven't done past life regression, but I'm very interested in it--if I find the right person to do it. I have spent time in a trace using the akashic records--some of the things that came out of it were quite surprising! I was concerned that various ideas I already had about at least one past life would come up just because it's already in my mind, but what I did discover was definitely a twist on what ideas I had--something I had not considered before. How to Read the Akashic Records by Linda Howe has instructions on how to access them and use them if you're interested in using that route.

I have active past life memories - That is I remember things from several past lives just as I do things from this life and while there are things from those that indecate that ceratain abilities are a farly consistant aspect of my nature I beleave that it has more to do with my Other nature then my past live. I have never done regression of any sort and would not want to undergo any sort of hypnosis as it is frightiningly easy to alter a persons memories or even implant false memories under hypnosis which is a state of extream psycological segestability.
This is a scientific fact that has been proven. A person can be asked to describe someones red shirt under hypnosis and they will describe a red shirt down to the shade regardles of the actual color of the shirt the person is wearing and come out of it and be shocked that the shirt is not red.

Yes, it would take a great amount of trust in the therapist!
