Camulus had been reading in his solitary room. There were many advantages to being a Goa'uld, including heightened hearing - but he didn't need to that to hear the scream that came from Phoebe's room, so close. The book fell from his hands as he bolted, his fist thundering on her door a moment later.

"Phoebe! Phoebe, damn it -"

Phoebe was curled up on the floor still sobbing. She heard the pounding on the door and tried to yell to him that the door was unlocked.

Her words stuck in her throat and all she managed to get out was "Camulus..."

Camulus tried the door anyway - if it was locked he'd kick it down - and burst in, gaze scanning the room for a source of attack, warrior's instinct that took him a moment. He knelt by her side, reaching out to her, unsure if she was injured. "Phoebe, I'm here."

Phoebe turned and threw herself into his arms, tightening her own arms around his neck as she sobbed. "Prue's dead..."
