It's a couple days after the dinner. Much to Val's surprise, Derek was still at her apartment. Well, he'd left a few times to go to Senate, and she had to go to work, but he was, well, sorta living there. It was a wierd feeling, but it somehow strangely felt right

The comm rings in the front foyer of the Skywalker's apartments on Ossus and in the office.

Thing is, no adults are in the house. Luke's teaching, Mara's sunning on the back patio.

So when the line is picked up...it's done so by a nine year old child with a curly mop of red hair and startling blue eyes. "Skywalker Residence"

Yes, his mouth is full of something as he talks.

"Is this Ben?" Val pauses. "Um. This is Valentine. Is your mom around?"

Ben lifted a tube of something, and if you look closely at the labeling it says nerfspread. "She's outside. I'll get her."

He turns and yells "MOOOOOM!"

Val facepalms. "Ben, dearling, you don't have to yell. You could just go and get her."
