This makes me laugh a little, because my utter inability to recognize faces means that I would probably have had both encounters with him if I were in your shoes (as no memory means no grudge) and never known that nice dude was the same person as that douche that was bothering me.
However, since you can remember, don't ever forget that this really awesome guy also apparently has a mean streak a mile wide. (Then again, so do I, and you love me for it.)
