Still sick. Stayed home from work today because I still feel like crap -- nothing really major, just mild nausea, tiredness (I napped for like 4 hours today), and what one of my old doctors called "the yuckies." Thanks hun. <3 I'm hoping I'll feel better tomorrow. As much I as I don't want to give into my boss's attitude of "zOMG you must be back NOW because I say so," I know that the more days I miss, the more I'll catch hell from her. And I'm afraid it might affect me getting all the days I need to get off to drive down to see my relatives for Christmas.

Ugh! I hope the bug goes away soon for you. It really is evil.

I had heard about that! As if I didn't have enough reasons to love Amanda Palmer. :D

By the way, I got your Christmas package in the mail! Thank you sooooo much! I can't wait to listen to it! Unfortunately, as I blogged about earlier my CD/DVD drive appears to be broken right now. :( But hopefully it'll be fixed soon so I can listen to the wonderful stuff you sent me.

Aww. I hate the yuckies. At least you got a day off, eh? Lolz. And, yeah, totally, do NOT be pressured into feeling better. You go back when you feel better, not when you're supposed to.

Well, that certainly sounds like good news with the writing grant!! I certainly hope they have enough money to give you. I don't really understand though, what the grant is...sorry, I'm a bad friend. Your manuscript will go to their panel to be evaluated and then you may get the grant?

Can't wait to watch that episode! XP
