I hate money issues. I really, really do. :-/ Also, our dear friend Aaron is having some issues with his ex-girlfriend that have caused his self esteem to take a major nosedive. I'm really worried about him, and I hate that awesome people who have the least reason to feel down on themselves always seem to get trampled upon by others

You know I have to go with my current biggest obsession...Doctor Who!

1. The first character I fell in love with: Christopher Eccleston's ninth Doctor, of course! Although I think he perhaps ties with Captain Jack Harkness...
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Rose Tyler. I don't know why I like her as much as I do. I mean, on the surface she seems like just a chavvy blonde teenager, and a bit of a Mary Sue. But I love the way she's developed and matured throughout the show (she was SUCH a different character in the last few episodes of last season than she was in the first episodes of the first season), and I can't help but love her because she's the first companion I was ever exposed to.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t: This is hard because there aren't that many characters that fill this role for me in Doctor Who. I guess Martha? I think she's alright, but I never grew attached to her. Like Amanda says, I like her better on Torchwood.
4. The character I love that everyone ( ... )

1. The first character I fell in love with: When I read the books, it was Remus Lupin. When I saw the movies, it was Alan Rickman as Severus Snape. (I know, I'm hardly the only one in that regard...)
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Neville Longbottom, for he become more and more kick ass as the books progressed. He's a BAMF! XD
3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t: Draco Malfoy. Which is odd because I sometimes ship Draco with my favorite characters -- but yeah. Just don't understand the Draco love. I think a lot of people love him because of Tom Felton, forgetting that in the books, Draco is not attractive at all, and is a pussy and a bigoted jerk.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: I don't know if I have one. It seems that in this fandom, EVERY character, now matter how boring or despicable, has a few fans.
5. The character I would shag anytime: Just one? God, I guess...Remus Lupin. Especially if he's already on top of Sirius. ;) (Two birds with one stone, yay ( ... )

10. Favorite character: Tie between Remus and Hermione.
11. What are your five favorite things about your fandom?
The whole Harry Potter phenomenon what with the release parties and such, and the fact that I got to witness all the books and movies coming out. The fact that it's something I have bonded with my friends over. JK Rowling's amazing characters (my favorite part of the books), whom I feel I know like real friends. All the hilarious badfic the novels have spawned. All the really GOOD fanfiction the novels have spawned.
12. What are your five least favorite things about your fandom? The craptastic fanfiction-y epilogue in Deathly Hallows. The fact that JKR killed off several of my favorite characters in the same book, and left Teddy Lupin an orphan. All the vital information and scenes that have been left out of the movies (such as the backstory on the Marauders). That Hermione's character always gets desecrated in all the awfully-written, canon-raping fanfics posted by 12 year olds. That once the 7th movie is ( ... )

I looove all the backstory stuff too! I have yet to read HBP, but I hope to before the movie comes out! (I'm still stuck on book five). The trailer is AMAZING though! :D AND YES, the little Ralph nephew makes me SQUEAL with joy!!

I'd be interested in reading what you think of HBP once you finish it. It seems like a lot of fans don't like it for some reason; I'm the only person I know who calls it a favorite. But I can't help it, the Voldemort stuff is so fascinating. I guess I've always been intrigued by what makes mad men tick.
And matching icons FTW!

I guess I've always been intrigued by what makes mad men tick. - that totally makes two of us. ♥ Why do I love Beethoven so much? Hmmm. ;) My favorite HP book thus far is the third one, and even what I've heard of HBP just intrigues me. Backstory = ♥ I really don't understand why people liked the fourth and fifth books so much - to me, they're the most boring (thus far). And Voldey is one fascinating guy!
DUDE, YES. 8D

And mmm, yes, Beethoven.
Okay, on with the questions! This will be easier to fill out than the others, I think, because TLU has so fewer characters than my other fandoms.
1. The first character I fell in love with: Schmendrick, of course! He took my heart away when I first saw the movie at the age of five, and when I read the book almost fifteen years later, I only loved him more.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Hmmm, I dunno. My initial opinions on the characters haven't really changed at all...
3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t: Prince Lir, especially the way his character is in the movie rather than the book. He's just so...dull. And wimpy.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Don't have one.
5. The character I would shag anytime: Schmendrick, duh! I love bumbling, awkward magicians who are much older than they look! (Plus, I bet he'd ( ... )
