   So today I'm walking off campus in search of the Education Abroad Office, along third street. So I pass a parked police care right on the corner next to the mobile hot-dog cart and am like "hm thats odd, whats it doing HERE." but continue on my way

Dammnnn I wish. Did you happen to see any of the several entries in which I lauded the many virtues of these glorious rods of processed meat. Too bad they didn't pass the health inspection and had to be banished. ::single tear:: rancid hot dogs how I miss you!

(and no, I do not believe bacon wrapped hot dogs are available at the hot dog cart.. "the hot dogger" apparently has a more permanent establishment somehwere in town but I've never been there)

That sounds a little sketchy...so the obvious cop was chilling on the corner, the undercover lad met up with him at maybe a predetermined time or something, and then they brought the law down hard on a man with no hair. Skinhead shoplifted from that bookstore? Meth deal gone awry? Cops looking for a rush? Pink shirt = gay prostitution sting? I wonder if the story will make it into the paper...

UCDPD Detectives

Yea.. I'm thinking maybe the guy was runnin drugs off that corner or smething. Davis is such an exciting place.

The UCD PD (note: not referring to the CITY here)(note to non Davis readers: the city and the university have completely seperate police departments) actually has detectives. How much detective work is there on campus? I learned this from the newspaper article last year about how some dumb girl got a parking ticket and tried to flee, but was caught by davis detectives (who apparently happened to be sitting there in their car in completely unrelated business) and then claimed she was persecuted for being black, whereas really she was just dumb as fuck.

do you have a source for that other than the fact that I said he was fired in my last entry, or are you knowingly telling me my own facts? (reference in this entry was a joke, if he WAS still on the force it would be silly to expect him to show up)
