no speed laces? ?? bah. all my taller boots have speed laces, so I voted 7 as that's all I have time to actually lace up.

Girls inviting u to birthday parties can never be too bad! I think I've given up on asking guys out - they have to ask me out from now on.

Speed laces? Yeah I was tempted to go up to 14 holes but it certainly takes long enough to lace/unlace my boots as is. However, NOTE that paratrooper boots have zippers on the side (so if you paradrop right into a swamp you can take them off before they pull you under!)! (Actually as far as I can tell the 1500 model doesn't have a zipper but damn does it look dashing

I have a pair like that w/the zipper & snap over top - but they're girly w/chunky high heels - I love them they're super fast on& off but adjustable for dif.socks so I can wear them w/tights or low socks or anything. They wear out faster then reg boots but I think they're worth it! :)

Yeah, like's been noted a bunch in other comments, it sure is a hassle to lace up/down 10 eyes every time. People hwo don't wear shoes in their houses are the bane of my existence. So despite how lovely some of those other boots like I'm definitely going w/ the zipper!

Haha I suppose that would be the seven-eye? But the boot most associated with Nazis is the jackboot of course, which doesn't have any laces at all.

I think the seven eye is a better idea mostly because I hated lacing combat boots as it was, but more eyes made it more annoying.
